The aim is to breed sheep of good confirmation and wool and to keep and maintain only those sheep that are true to the breed standards. You should pay particular attention to correct horns, upright pasterns, good mouths and no split eye tendency. Rigerous culling is carried out to achieve this aim. The better females not retained for breeding are either sold at J.S.S sales or slaughtered for meat.
