With this in mind we took 2 horned ewes from the Whitley Flock to create the Greenacres Flock (4388) for our grandsons Reece Fenton and Nathan Fozzard.
They have put Grandad/Grandma to shame in the show ring, winning many championships at local shows, interbreed champions, Reserve champion at skipton JSS sale, and champion on two occasions at Melton Mowbray JSS sale, on the last occasion in front of the countryfile tv cameras. The flock at present totals 8 ewes and has gradually been improved with rams from the Douglas, Trafalger and Camster flocks. At present (2013) there are some very nice ram lambs to send to sale.
